Agni bistro in Jasper

This weekend me and couple of my friends were visiting jasper looking to try something new and different and found out about Agni. "Wow" is the word for everything from service to the menu .. staff was very friendly and helped in selecting our dishes. Great experience !!! Thanks for an amazing experience !!!

This is the best Indian restaurant in Jasper, ala Carte menu, preparation is superb, and there was waiting,we had to wait for 30 mins!,the ambience is superb and staff super friendly,the kitchen is handled by owner Mr Gopal himself.The place opens only in evening . Don't miss this place if you are in Jasper.

Delicious food. As per the waiter, their chicken and lamb are Halal.

Great experience! Amazing Curry!!! Small portions so be sure to order each individual per person. Really can’t say enough good things - Delivered in under 25 mins, nice and hot, great amount of spice! Just great!

Service was prompt and polite, food was pretty great: it hit the spot. All the curries are gluten free, as noted on the menu (inside and online). Servers handled our allergy flag brilliantly.

Butter chicken and garlic Naan were super delicious. Goat Masada was spicy but less salt. Nice restaurants and outdoor sitting. Takeout was ready fast.

Sorry I was not in agni bistro, I was in the downstream restaurant that it is exactly under agni bistro going down stairs, this place is really good in food and some drinks , you gotta eat there!!!

Service very friendly. Food was quickly on the table. Pat thai good but not very authentic with a lot of veggies inside...

THIS IS NOT INDIAN FOOD. If you are looking for overpriced food that is "cooked" by heating ready-to-eat packets, then this is the place for you. The service was terribly slow (even when they were not that busy). If you must have Indian food, order yellow daal as it was the only good thing.

Good was unexpectedly great! The ONLY and big sad part was they didn't have any hot drinks. We were longing for Indian chai so bad in the cold.

Ordered delivery from here on Friday evening! Was wonderfully priced, smaller portions than expected and could’ve used a bit more flavour but overall great for the price!! They also had delivered it to me within 35 minutes on a busy Friday night! 😊 would definitely visit again!

Little gem in Jasper . I went in with very minimum expectation but I was surprised at how good everything was and how everything tasted quite authentic . We ordered daal makhni, garlic naan and lamb kebab and everything was very flavorful and well cooked . Food service is fast and staff is super friendly.It would be unfair for anyone to give a less star because they charged for rice , because we learned that charging for a side of rice is very standard throughout Alberta region restaurants. Only sad thing was I saw a photo of Falooda advertised on yelp and on their entrance sign but unfortunately they do not serve that . Rest everything else was very satisfactory .

Took Thai pad for 16$. It was pretty good and huge quantity, I could not take a dessert after that.

Worst food ever we had ....dal makhani is just boiled dal ..I wished there is zero star..spoiled Indian name and quality of food & even small restaurant is maintain better than such a costly restaurant..

Unfortunately due to covid the restaurant is closed for dine in, however that didn't stop them from dishing up some of the best butter chicken I've ever had. I've had a lot. I'm no beginner when it comes to Indian food. Call me surprised too because I wouldn't have expected it from a touristy town like Jasper. Anyway we had the Korma, Paneer, butter chicken and naan. Sat in the hotel room and enjoyed away. Also I have to say their mango lassi is outstanding. Very happy and will be back!!

This was one of the best North Indian meals I have had in my life. The flavours in the food were spot on. I felt like I had traveled back to Punjab, India. A complete and total treat to my taste buds.

1. Super expensive2. Bhindi masala has more potatoes than Bhindi, the menu description never had "potatoes and bhindi". Food quality not do good3. Take out only during the covid-19 restrictions, however people were eating on the public tables outside the restaurant, which were not sanitized after use

We ordered tandoori roti and spend around $70 on them but those were hard as rock. I hope from next time they will serve fine meal to customers when they spend this much money on meal.

Taste was awesome, only take out available. We can eat outside the restaurant as 3 tables available outside

Ordered Kung Pao, Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic naan. My husband said it was the best Kung Pao he's ever tasted and my Chicken Tikka Masala was absolutely amazing. The garlic naan was perfect, crispy, not greasy and so tasty. The menu has a great selection of different cuisines. We may even return tonight as we leave Jasper tomorrow and I just can't wait to eat here again. Polite and friendly service (dine in currently not available due to COVID). Efficient and accurate order. We shall be back and we will for sure recommend you.

Good for takeout. They make a good Lamb Rogan Josh and Dal Tadka, pairs well with Jasmine Rice. Or their Lamb Kababs, though the quantity of said kababs is less for the price charged.They also have Kingfisher beer, great to wash down one’s meal.If staying around Jasper and looking to stay in for the evening, this presents a good takeout option (if one is willing to pick up one’s meal during the day before heading back).

Worst experience, butter chicken was toooooo much oily.. tandori roti hard than rocks nd bondi raita too much salt .. when u make food please keep in mind tht someone is paying their hard earned money for it to have tasty food not to put in trash

I have been here 2 days ago and trust me this is the best restaurant around the town. Ambience is great . Especially quality of Gulab jamun and kufri was excellent . Also u shd try tandoori chicken .

Although the food here is a bit pricey but the quality of the food is worth it. Had the best lamb korma curry recently & it’s way better than expected. Would be happy to dine here again in the future.

Great Indian food, freshly prepared and good ambience. The staff are very friendly and courteous. A must visit for all tourists wanting to eat yummy Indian food.

Just had food today from Agni after a year it was mind blowing. Really like the consistent taste, quality and quantity of culinary diversity provided by Agni it’s really tremendous. For town like jasper it’s really a great value for money and I proud to have Agni as Asian bistro in jasper town to fulfill all Asian authentic palette and mouthwatering taste. They do started sushi as well which is really quite up to the mark. I will highly recommend to visit Agni while you are in Jasper town.

Great selection of Indian and Thai curries, and lots of options for vegetarians. The staff working there over the August long weekend were absolute champs as a small number of them were juggling the phone and walk-up orders (for take-out and delivery only) while packing up dishes to go. We ended up receiving a wrong dish in our order, and they corrected the mistake, free of charge, in mere minutes. The food was delicious and I appreciate the protocols they have put in place to keep staff and customers safe at this time. I'll definitely head back as their Dal Tadka can't be beat!

Korma and Butter Chicken were unique from others but found both extremely salty. Naan was perfect.

While I can't speak to the dine-in experience, the staff were friendly, the service was quick - my order was ready in about 20 minutes - and, most importantly, the food was excellent! Rich and well-spiced, with a perfect amount of heat, and just done to perfection. The online ordering experience was smooth, picking up was easy, and their COVID protocol was solid. Not only would I go again, but I would absolutely recommend it.

Perfect taste all gujju’s I would recommend this restaurant perfect vegetarian food with best taste, actually the restaurant was closed but they still helped loved it... you guys rock
